MOM: Ministry of Manpower

The Ministry of Manpower (MOM) is a ministry of the Government of Singapore responsible for the formulations and implementation of policies related to the workforce in Singapore.

労働力省（MOM)はシンガポール政府の省庁の一つで、シンガポールの労働力に関する政策の策定や、その実施を行っています。

The National Day Parade (NDP) is an annual parade held in Singapore to commemorate its independence.

ナショナルデイ・パレードはシンガポールの独立を記念して毎年行われるパレードです。

Held annually on 9th August, it is the main public celebration of National day, and consists of a parade incorporating contingents of Singapore Armed Forces, Ministry of Home Affairs, local institutions and community groups, followed by a cultural presentation featuring songs and dances culminating with a fireworks display.

(NDPは）毎年8月9日に開催され、シンガポール軍、内務省、地元期間やコミュニティグループによるパレードのあと、歌や踊りを中心とした文化的なプレゼンが行われ、最後には花火を打ち上げ国の誕生を祝福します。

Singapore celebrated its first National Day as an independent nation in 1966, one year after Singapore’s separation from Malaysia on 9 August 1965.

シンガポールがマレーシアから分離独立した1965年8月9日から一年後の1966年に最初のシンガポールナショナルデイが開催されました。

It was announced that the 2022 parade would return to full capacity, with a goal to “involve as many Singaporeans” as possible.

2022年のNDPパレードは「多くのシンガポール人を参加させる」事を目標に完全稼働に戻すと発表が行われました。

The 2023 parade will be held at the Padang, and plans were discussed to possibly hold the parade at National Stadium again in 2024.

2023年のパレードはパダンで開催されますが、2024年以降は国立競技場に再びパレードの場を戻す事が検討されました。
